HELP! My baby (orig. owner) 1989 Toyota Celica GTS was Hit/Run. I have all of the necessary repair parts with one exception. I need a right rear quarter panel. I checked with Toyota and 86 - 89 GTS coupe will fit. Anybody have any ideas of where I might find a quarter panel?. All advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Thomas. Have you looked through your local junk yards or contacted a body shop / collision repair shop? They are usually really good for locating parts, or can set you in a good direction for finding them on your own. If you are uncertain, you can also call your vehicle insurance company, but make certain that they know your question isnt about going through them for the work, ie; "this is not an insurance claim."

Dear CK,

I've looked and all of the local body shops have looked. Unfortunately the 89 GTS is a very rare car to find parts for, especially the coupes. I have located two convertibles GT's, but the quarter panels numbers do not match. I also located an 86 GTS (parts match), but the quarter panel (right) was too badly damaged. The left QP was fine just my luck! I'll try my insurance company. Thank you. Tom
