I have a 03 GT and 04 GTS. I want to swap hatches for paint reasons (GTS hatch to go on GT). My problem is the GT hatch doesn’t have wiring going through the right side. Anyone know if there is a way to make this work?

You can run your own wiring if you have the proper snake tools. Once you pop the plastics off, wiring can be snaked down any side of the hatch.

If you are looking to wire the rear wiper from the GTS in to your GT, there are a few other things that are needed before it will work as expected, such as a switch to turn it on/off:

The center stop light / third-brake light on the top of the hatch, not spoiler, should already have wiring

Looks like I’ll have to look into it a bit more. Think it’s possible to take the GT wiper and hook it up to the gts hatch? Don’t want to mess with the switches. Looking for a plug and play deal if at all possible. The defroster looks a bit different too. I’ll post some pics
