I just joined and realized this is mostly for 7th Gen Celicas, However, if anyone on here can help with older generation questions, here's what I've got.
Our 1992 Celica GT Convertible just blew the engine. By no fault of its own, I mistakenly relied on the oil light. Anyway, we wanted to completely restore the car now that it's down for the foreseeable future. I know there's the Celica GT-Four with a 2.0L turbo and the ST185 is the engine model that ran during 1992. Has anyone every heard of putting the 2.0L turbo from the GT-Four in a Celica GT Convertible? My stock engine is the 2.2L 4cyl with no upgrades aside from a K&N short air intake.
I'm aware I will need several other modifications/replacements to make this setup work, if it's even possible. Any and all information is welcome!
