Hi folks first post from here in the UK I have Toyota Celica 190 T Sport aka GTS which has a stage 2 tune usual stuff piper cams, ported/flowed head, uprated valves, Injen induction kit, custom decat, racing rad otherwise stock engine (for now), block is stock 2zz but has had an AC delete and MWR pulley installed.

Now the problem is that the power steering pump has failed twice and we have noticed excessive wear on the belt both on the inside and outside. Inside I suspect is where the belt is slipping on the pulleys and the outside is where its hitting the timing chain cover.

I have attached photos from the other day engine had a full service done new timing chain cover if anyone can spot anything obvious or know why this is happening I would be grateful as I worried 1. another pump will fail and 2. belt is going to get worn down rapidly. I will be ordering a stronger belt from Autodoc but I still need to know why this is happening and how I could possibly fix it.

Thank you in advance.
