Hello, I just bought my first car ( 04 gts) and it’s automatic. While I still have a blast driving it, I know I’d have even more fun driving it Manuel. I was wondering if there’s any tips anybody can give me, I heard that it’s a bad idea to swap transmissions because the cars computer is meant to have a auto tranny. Please help

I’m in no way experienced let alone super knowledgeable on this topic but if you wanted to do the swap your best bet Is pulling the full tranny clutch and everything else you need from a yard than finding a tuner who can adjust your computer.

Yeah sounds about right. I’m no expert either but I did manage to find someone that could help me do the actual swap but now I just need to find a tuner. Thanks!
