Hi. I've got a 2005 T sport which runs perfectly except that on start-up from cold, the revs hold at 1200 whilst the air pump is running but when it cuts out (at 25 degrees I think), instead of dropping, they rise to about 1800-2000 until the temp comes up to the first bar on the guage when it settles back down again. Once warm it idles at 800rpm and is fine. It also gives a 'blip' on the revs when shifting up. This happens even when warm, but isn't noticable when accelerating hard - only during 'normal' driving. There's no fault codes and everything else on the car is fine. I've cleaned the throttle body, put fuel system cleaner through it, changed the temp sender (which was a bit sluggish) and throttle position sensor. All the outputs from the MAF and O2 sensors look fine too. Anybody ever had anything like this?
