my check engine light turn on and then went off for like one week and is back on again. Now it won't go off. What is going on. is it cover warrenty. i have like 65,000 miles on it. if not like how much does it cost to get it checked. car is like trippin. anything will help. thanks

Go to autozone...they do them for free thumbsup The code checking that is grin

Just take it to Autozone they will tell you why its on for FREE

Disconnect the battery and let it sit for a little bit. Also clean out the MAF sensor and see if that helps anything. The celica ecu is incredibly sensitive so the littlest thing will throw a CEL thumbsdown

I had the same problem before, and my cylinder heads were bend... I would get that check as soon as possible

do a combination of what everyone said.

disconnect your battery cable for a bit and see if the light goes off, if it goes off then there isn't anything really wrong with the system, mine went on because "bank 1 too lean" basically because i have a CAI. but if it comes back on in a short amount of time take it to autozone, then when you know why it's on, take it to a mechanic.

my advice is to always do what you can to correct the problem before you have to start paying other people to work on it... personally...
