Had these codes for about 2 years now and fed up!

Changed oil multiple times (x4 with 5w30)

changed ocv p1349 reason but still comes back?

anyone have a solution, plus chain does not make any sounds it shouldn't does not seem stretched.

I just went through this last month. In my case it was a little tiny oil filter that is inside the VVTL housing was clogged. It would rev in the 6-8000 RPM range, but not give the boost in power normal for that range. Car had 199K miles at the time.

After changing the filter and housing gasket, it runs like a raped ape above 6200, which is the way it should be! CE light went away and has not been back after 5K miles.

Hi, Cheers for the reply dude! Yeah, I've had the issue for over a year now, (Now on 114,000 miles) tried cleaning the VVTL one and the VVT one does make one hell of a difference to the lift, I wonder how often it's recommended to clean it!

But that wasn't my problem, changing the camshaft and crankshaft sensor today to new Denso ones to see if that makes a difference for me? because the car does jump quite often at low rpm, Who knows what it will do, these codes have been historically a pain in the ass to get rid of, especially if you want to do it all yourself like me.
