I have a 97 GT Convertible and my antenna needs to be replaced. Some jerk decided to bend it. I have a complete repair manual but they are all a series of PDF's...like 88 of them. I can't find in the manual were the directions are to replace the antenna. Can someone tell me what section it would be in and hopefully I can find it in one of these PDF's.

Cheers!!

Im not sure about your pdf repair manual but if your antenna isnt recieving signal properly now that its bent, an easy fix is to have it stay down for the time being. Heres a quick tutorial on ho to do that. Hope you can get it fixed soon enough.

Thanks but your link isn’t working. It goes to a 506 Bad Gateway page. :-(

I have a broken antenna in my 2002 GT, and it’s been very unpleasant trying to figure out how to replace it with an aftermarket, modern antenna. From what I have been able to tell, the actual antenna has to be unscrewed from within the housing (which in my Celica is easily accessed from a panel inside the back). However, my problem is that the antenna was snapped off inside the housing and there doesn’t seem to be a way to get it out. Without the original antenna housing, it doesn’t look like a new, aftermarket antenna is going to be able to fit. Kinda sucks.
