Celica Forums News Portal r/Celica Does 7th Gen GT-S have ambient (Outside) temperature sensor by default? [r/Celica]

Many cars have these, but mine appears to be missing. However I cant even find wires or plug to connect one to. It's supposed to be clipped on the bumper in front of the radiator, I believe.

Either by coincidence or not, my AC only blows cold when driving/moving. This might be because the condenser fan will not stay on, even with AC on full blast. Refrigerant levels fine, fuses/relays checked and compressor spinning. So perhaps this sensor or lack thereof is telling the fan to not spin?

If any 7th gen owner is willing to investigate the ambient sensor and possibly post pics of the mounting location, sensor and plug, i'd be very grateful. Thanks r/Celica!
