Looked and I couldn't find anything... This is stupid, but, I don't want to kill myself: How do I remove the battery from the celica safely? I'm going to grease the shift cables more throughly tomorrow at Heat's, so I wanna know how to remove the battery without killing myself or someone else

look on the top of the battery, follow the batter tie down (metal brace on top) and you'll find 2 10 mm nuts that hold it down. those 2 10mm nuts are attached to 2 hooks.

then disconnect the negative terminal, and the positive.

One more thing, when lifting it out, keep it level. Becareful, it's kinda heavy.

While on the topic. When you purchase a new battery via mail order (Optima for example). Do you take it into a battery place to be charged? or do they come charged already?
