Paint or Tape Chrome Covering? #475682 Jun 1, 11:30am

SJSnelling New Member Joined: Sep 2020 Posts: 5 New England, USA	Toyota applied a covering over the chrome at the top of the windshield on my 1997 Celica GT convertible. It has slowly been peeling off. Is it a type of tape, or a paint? The way it scrapes off, it appears to be a deteriorated type of tape. Do you have a suggestion for a replacement?
