Hey guys I’ve just bought a rear engine mount for my 2001 Toyota celica, upon actually inspecting my current mount I noticed there is a difference on the top of the mount? Bit confused as to why it’s different? And will the new mount fit?

I’ve attached 2 photos the first one is the new mount I just bought and the 2nd one looks like the current mount in the car

OEM mount has the knob as in pic #2, most after market mounts do not.

I used both, noticed no differences. It should fit.

You can rebuild the original mount. Just add polyurethane jell to the flexing rubber elements to stiffen them up. That reduce any vibration due to worn mount.
