Although mechanically related, the BMW 230i and the Toyota GR Supra 2.0 take the sports-coupe idea in different directions.

The four-cylinder versions of the BMW 2-series and the Toyota Supra both use the same engine: a turbocharged 2.0-liter supplied by the German manufacturer. The 2-series is more of a traditional coupe, however, while the Supra is a full-on sports car. We pitted them head to head to see where their strengths and weaknesses lie.
