Hello. I currently drive a 14 ram and I love the truck to death, but with the rising cost of fuel and just overall cost of ownership of a truck, it just isn't worth it for what it's used for and I'm considering getting rid of it and finding some kind of late 80s early 90s japanese car, and I've always wanted a Celica since I was a kid.

Anyways, I'd really love a 4th gen lift back, but a clean 5th gen would make me happy too. Can anyone tell me how they're doing with their 4th and 5th gens? Daily driven? Gas mileage? Where do you find suspension upgrades? Is there a good aftermarket for performance upgrades in general? Are replacement parts easy to get? Overall, is it worth it? Thanks

i have a couple gen 7 GTS with auto xmissions. Gen 7 has the high speed VVTL-i engine with Yamaha's high speed cam. Cans run smooth and strong like new. Everything works.

With the hatch back open and rear seats fold down it has as much carrying capacity as a pick up truck. You can move furniture with it.

I carried 18-ft long beams and 16-ft long roofing sheets for a greenhouse project, no problemsos.

Hi! Thanks for the input. I know those engines are amazing, I just like the vibe of the 4th and 5th gen cars. The 7th gen GTS looks like a good performer, but hate the way they look, just my personal taste
