Hello everyone, thanks for having me in the forum!

I recently bought a 2000 Toyota Celica 1.8 (143 HP) European edition so not GT/GTS. I have an issue with the central lock. I cannot unlock or lock the car with either the key, or the switch inside the car, however when i click the switch inside I do hear 2 click from the fuse box near the passenger seat leg space. The door locks do not move at all neither the trunk lock. What is more strange is that when the car is fully locked and I push the lock key on the car the indicator lights blink, and when one of the doors of the car is unlocked and I press the unlock button it also blinks (so it seems like reversed in order). Sometimes when I use my keys to unlock it also does blink. The previous owner said that the door actuators are fine, and this is a "programming" thing. In my knowledge it does not have any aftermarket security systems, and the fuses have all been checked. Has anyone encountered something like this.

Thanks in advance!

Matthias.

I have the same issues and with a bit of search I am right now trying to get the 7.5A fuses out from the internal fusebox to check them, but it's like they are hardstuck in. If it's not that nor the actuators, it might be a BCM issue, which looks common.

I'll ask you because i think you did: How the hell did you get the 7.5A fuses out? Mine looks glued and i even cracked the plastic
