Hi, i just aquired a 93 celica gt convertible with 150k miles and a couple "dings and things".
It has near zero rust and no leaks into interior. Car does'nt run but i have alot of info about its previous behaviour from seller's husband who was attempting to fix it. Stated after replacing ICM (igniter) car would run for 30 minutes or so and then just quit, wouldnt start for some time then would again. Eventually it quit all together. Was told the distributor/ignitor was interfering with radio and it seems it doesnt work anymore. No spark condition. I found 3 ICMs in the car, all no good im assuming they got hot and "cooked" the PCB, newest looking ICM is hooked up with 12v in but only 0.2v to the 4 wires going to distro (should be 5v?). Distributor looks brand new. Also ive read something about the radio having a interfence condenser than gets melted? Im new to EMI running thru chassis causing havok, any advice would be appriciated.
