Anyone ever seen pedals made by Autovation, or heard anything about them? http://www.autovation.net/products/Toyota/Celica/Celica_pedals/main.html I came across them on eBay [ cgi.ebay.com]. The pedals they have are specifically designed for 5th and 6th gen Celicas, but they offered to design a pair for the 7th gen for me. I sent them traces, measurements, and pictures of my pedals for them to use as a template. I think the pedals look pretty nice. However, since they are designing a new set specifically for the 7th gen Celica, we get to have some say in the design if there is anything that might look better. Any comments or suggestions?

i just emailed them to see what the price was and if they make them for 00+ celi Let me know what they tell you. If you follow the link on their website, it looks like they want $100 for the matte finish set; at that price, I'd just as soon get the OEM GTS pedals. The auction on eBay is only $75 and shows the matte finish. They told me they'd make me a set for $49 shipped, but I'm not sure they would be their regular price, since I'm providing the template and doing the test fit.

it's not for 7th gen though... The pictures on their website are not for 7th gen, which is why they are designing ones specifically for 7th gen based on the templates I made for them. The deadpedal and gas will screw into the existing pedals, and the clutch and brake will bolt onto the medal pedals. I expect drilling will be required.

Alright, got them installed. The footrest is the easiest, because you can take the whole footrest out of the car, and just screw the new one in on top of it. The gas pedal screws right into the existing pedal too, so it's pretty easy. It took me a bit longer to do the brake and clutch because the four holes in the new covers didn't exactly line up with the four holes in the pedal, so I had to use a drill to enlarge the holes a bit. Broke one drill bit in the process, but that's what I get for buying cheap tools. All hardware is included: 4 screws for the footrest, 2 screws for the gas pedal, 8 counter-sunk bolts and nuts for the brake and clutch pedal, and an allen-wrench for tightening the bolts.
I need to get another picture with better lighting so you can see the "Celica" emblem on the clutch and brake, but this will have to do for now.

Do they cover the existing pedals? Or do they replace everything? Do they make 'em for autos, too?

It's not listed on their website yet, but I'm assuming now that they have the design, they will entertain orders from others. I would expect the regular price to be $75 for machined finish and $100 for the matte finish since that's what they sell the 5th and 6th gen for. If there are enough people for a group buy, they might be willing to go lower. Someone will probably need to send them a pattern for the automatic brake pedal before they can do automatics. I don't particularly feel like taking mine off again, but if someone can get a more precise trace of the holes in the brake and clutch pedal, I would hope they could modify the design so the new covers fit perfectly with no drilling required. See www.autovation.net [ autovation.net] or contact sales@autovation.net for more info.

I like the dead pedal, how it's flared at the bottom, I own a GTS, and my dead pedal isn't as cool as that one. Nice install, good find

the only thing i don't like about solid metal petals is that your feet slide off of them when they are wet. i like rubber on my aftermarket petals. but yours do look nice

The brake and clutch pedals have several raised metal edges so that your feet won't slip off.

In case you're interested in purchasing some.. For all the auto owners, I have already completed the template for the brake pedal and it is in the mail to Autovation, who has informed me that upon receipt, it will take them 2-3 weeks to complete the actual pedal. I can't wait to get mine
