I’m trying to decide whether to buy a GT or a GTS. If they don’t differ in handling, I’d strongly consider a GT and then toss a turbo on it in a year or so after I have full confidence in the engine. Chat GPT keeps telling me that the GTS has a different suspension.
For example, when I asked to compare the Celica and the Scion tC on handling and fun to drive dimensions, this was part of it’s answer:
“• 7th generation Celica: The Celica, especially the GT-S variant, has a sportier suspension setup and is lighter than the tC. It was designed with a focus on handling and agility. As a result, many drivers find it more engaging and precise when it comes to cornering.“
I haven’t seen anything on this or any other site that states the suspensions are different between GT and GTS. Is Chat GPT just full of it (happens sometimes).
Oh, and if any of you have advice for me on the GT (with turbo coming later) vs. GTS, I’d be highly interested.
