will a Celica GT turbo manifold work for a GTS? Or will a GT turbo kit work for the GTS also?

I don't htink so. The 2zz and 1zz are entirely different motors.

I don't htink so. The 2zz and 1zz are entirely different motors. No, not entirely different, just different pistons and cylinder heads. Still means that he needs a manifold to fit the 2ZZ, since it needs to bolt up to the cylinder head. There's a company that makes a turbo kit for the GTS, was it XS Engineering? I don't remember... Anyways, just call or write them, ask if you can buy the manifold seperately. Keep in mind, if you're building a custom turbo manifold, you will need to figure out the following: Clearance issues: (GTS manifold is at the BACK of the engine, near the firewall) will your turbo fit? Fuel Enrichment: you can't use a typical Fuel Pressure regulator, no fuel return line. you need to figure out how to suppliment fuel under boost, possibly through an aftermarket FMU and injectors. You may also need to install dished pistons, unless you are running low boost. It's also possible to have an exhaust shop custom fabricate a manifold for you, be sure to give them the turbo you're using, as well as a factory exhaust manifold so everything fits together properly.
