I am trying to find a scanner that can offer troubleshooting.
I have a JDM 1998 Celica.
I have an OBDII port and I have gone down the Bluetooth Adaptor with the Torque app...but it only offer basic stats (temps, volts, etc). Even added the toyota plug in (didn't help, doesn't even list a celica on the car makes...waste of $5)
Lately my car has suddenly started running rough, high idle, low idel, and/or rich at random times.
After searching, ive come across people with 97 toyotas (non celica) with sucess so I bought the Ancel JP700 and it doesn't work.
It gets stuck at the initial "Communicating" prompt.
Looking for US options on how to troubleshoot a JDM vehicle...
Or am I missing something in the Torque app that allows the Diagnostic part to work...or maybe have an incompatible string typed in?
