I've got a 2002 celica and I travel a good bit and not always going to be home. I wanted to know if anyone has any tips on making it more comfortable. I've got a somewhat small budget and I don't know if I'll really be able to do anything. One of my questions was, the under the tray inside the trunk right behind the back seats, it's like an interior frame piece I guess you can call it. What is under that and is that something that needs to stay there? That is the main issue. The trunk with the back seats layed down, not being flat so it's really uncomfortable to lay down on. I'm getting like a futon but I don't know how much that will really help out that much with that big hump.
Thank you everyone that has some type of answer.

You can remove the plastic piece with no problems. i ran for a year without it and got a new one just last week. Under it is a metal bar thats part of the chassis. If u want to sleep there i suggest u remove the tray and fill the caps with cushions or blankets. u should sleep better this way. xD
