I have a 1995 ST that I bought a few years ago at about 100k miles and have been daily driving it ever since. It has been majorly trouble free for a few years now. I replaced a leaking steering rack and that's pretty much it for repairs. It was well taken care of. Here recently though I got in it and as soon as the key was turned to "on" before going to "start" the cooling fans kicked on. They are now permanently on and run constantly when the key is on. It's not the worst problem to have but it's not ideal getting into winter and is definitely shortening the lifespan of the fans which would typically only run occasionally sitting still. Removing and swapping relays shows that a relay is not the issue. The temp gauge still reads just fine. I'm confused because unplugging temp sensors doesn't change anything. Shouldn't unplugging temp sensors kill the fans? Any insight would be appreciated
