| Ok this is gonna be a lot but I have a 2000 celica gt which has the 1zz engine in it BUT the engine that’s in it is from a 2007 corolla (I believe). It had a blown head gasket when I bought it which I replaced and I put the engine bay back together. My problem is that I get crank and fuel but no start. I believe the engine and wiring harness both came out of the 2007 corolla (which also had the 1zz in it), but I believe the electric system was a bit diffrent and the ecu in my car is still the original ecu. There is a couple wires that I can’t find where they plug in, and I’m fairly sure one of them is what controls spark. I don’t believe the 2000 celica had a ICM (ignition control module) in it as far as I know. Does it? Can anyone tell me where these wires go?? I also included the fuse box if that helps any. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!!! submitted by /u/That_slow_125 [link] [comments] |
