Im about to buy a AEM CAI for my celi but before I buy it are there any particular intakes that are better performance wise than it...all opinions plz!!!
get the Race divison CAI from Injen, its the best for the celica and gives the most power, although an intake alone won't do a whole whole lot you will notice a little bit of difference in power
hey guys i'll tell ya what ...i bought a AEM intake for my honda then used a diff filter for it and ..HOLYSHIT... the filterwas called a Monster Stack filter. I twas $95.00 but the thing is better than a KN or anything like that because to clean it you take it out and rinse under water and let dry..boom.. your done. It is good for a life time...so ya ll might want to check them out...laters
Get an Injen, they are more reliable than AEM to me. Both are good, but I think Injen is fairly better. I have the Injen shortram, works great Up to you what you want to buy, you will probably be a lot more satisfied with Injen though.
Hey DJTyDogg, where did you find that Monster Stack Filter? Did you buy it online? Sounds sweet, and that simple way to clean it, rinse and let dry...awesome. I currently have an AEM Cold Air Intake on my GTS, but if this will add a little more power, I'm all for it. Later.

go with an AEM, you'll get more low end which is where you need it, with an inken you get like a half a HP more up top but you get more with AEM down low
I have an Injen CAI. It really isn't too much difference, but most of the time it is easier to get hp than torque, so just remember that when you buy your intake.
AEM...definitely. It is true...Injen gets a tiny, tiny, tiny bit more horsepower up top, but it doesn't really make a difference, AEM absolutely destroys Injen down low. If you were to race 2 exact same cars, for example, two 2002 GTS's both with 6-speeds, and put an AEM CAI in one and Injen RD CAI in the other. The AEM GTS would win, destroying the Injen down low and pulling ahead right away, and that small bit of horsepower that the Injen has over the AEM at top end wouldn't even matter. I have the AEM CAI on my GTS 6-speed, and the power I recieve at top end is amazing. Get the AEM, you won't be disappointed.

has anyone here had the chance to try out the new AEM v2 CAI, just wondering if it is worth it to pay more, claims 4" pipe for intake for more hp over the regular AEM CAI, anyone know????
