Hey guys. I've had my 4th gen for quite a while and it has always had a issue with the hatch, but I've never really minded it. It took ridiculous amounts of force to close properly and It usually wouldn't even close, so I just restrained myself from using the trunk up until recently. Earlier this month I tried adjusting the lower hatch locking mechanism but even though I've only moved it slightly, it now results on an absurd amount of noise even on the flatest asphalt road, I was wondering if this was a common issue, and if so, if theres any trick to fixing it properly.
