i ordered aem intake from ecelica and i just went to put it in and just found out part of the intake on the tip is bent and also i don't think it is the right one cause when i look on this site at other aem intake installed they are totaly different i was wondering if anyone has any input on this or did aem change how it looks i dunno plz help

It's kinda hard to tell if it's the right one without pics. Also, if it's just a small bend in the rim of either ends opening, you can straighten it out easily, it's aluminum.

Looks to be the correct one, same as I got.
It looks a bit dented too on the engine side, shouldn't be a problem, the rubber hose goed over that part about 1-2 inches (for me at least). MAke sure to tighten (not overtighten) he clamps

hmmm... the dented part goes on the throttle body right?
you might want to straighten it out so it fits better.. or see if you can return the item for a new one..

yes you have the right intake the one you have is the gen 2 aem intake where the sensor is closer to the throttle body gen 1's have it in the middle of the tube(i believe you cant use the bypass valve w/gen 1's)

and now you know the difference between AEM FIRST GEN and AEM SECOND GEN cold air intakes thumbsup
