Aight I'm lookin at gettin leather seats and want opinions from those that have them.
I live in the south so humidity is a mother here and it can get hot. I have heard that they are hot in the summer...cold in the winter...and take forever to warm up or cool down..
but from those that have em what do you think about em?
thanks.

I hate mine.
So hot and sticky in the summer.
Nice in the winter, that's about it.

Re-upholstered mine in leather. Easy to clean, smooth as a babies butt, but just make sure not to leave then out too long in the summer it can wear out your leather causing it to premature and crack. Sunshade and ventilation during those hot humid days is a must. Just make sure not to fold down the rear seats and lay heavy items above it while the rear seats are down it can wrinkle the leather down in the crevices and lower padded sections giving causing wrinkles. Some go away others take a long time to flatten out. Anyway leather is meant to get wrinkled eventually. Other then that I love my leather seats.

I love leather. It's easy to clean and looks a billion times better than cloth. I've never noticed that it was uncomfortable on hot summer days, my butt must not sweat as much as other people or something.

Oh yeah, another think that I like about the leather is the leather smell. The only thing better than new car smell is new car smell with freshly conditioned leather, IMO.

Good leather vs cheaper leather makes a big difference.
Good leather adjust to body heat better and cool down faster. Friend has a car with cheaper leather seats its almost as bad as vinyl. I have no problem with the leather seats in my car.
As suggest in hot days, sunshade/tinted windows keep them cool. Then when in the car use A/C shouldn't have a problem.

Love them. Had leather seats in both my cars and if I go with a base Z like I plan next year I'll be buying leather seat covers. Looks 10 times better and gives the car a much cleaner feel.
Leather can get hot and very cold but it really doesn't take long for it to heat up or cool down. Besides definitly worth it for the look.

Like the leather, its wearing well, treat it with leather cream at least once a year. BTW, the front seats are only faced in leather, everywhere else including the rear seats is plastic

I def like the look of the leather..I love your seats as you already know RicePowered but im not sure about the backs I want a custom look and the velcro is throwing me otherwise i would be in some WetOkole's. I have found a cloth that im inlove with...its on the 2002 SpecV's. They are similar to the stock celica cloth but with a bit more depth. They have an almost fish net top cloth and red under so its black from some angles and red from others its an amazing effect in person. pics dont do it justice I guess ill go to the dealership and sit in a few before i make my decision.

im going for leather and wat i heard is that when you leave it out in the sun too long it shrinks a little and cracks especially in the little spot your fingers cant reach between the windshield and the dash. nonetheless, the day i saw goldcelicas car was the day i realised... I need leather!!!!!!

anyone know where i can find a cheap set of Cobra Murano Leather seats, those things are DAMN comfortable and HOT SHIT! but i don't want to have to fork out a nice $1495 per seat, EEEK! so if anyone finds a store that sell them for like 1k per seat or cheaper, tell them they have a new customer
