Guys, I really need help w/ this. I already install an aftermarket head unit, 4 speakers, and 2 10 subwoofer power by 1500 watts amplifier w/ 2 channel. Right now my speaker doesnt push out any bass, so Im planning to buy a 500watt amplifier w/ 2 channel to power the rear speaker. Is this a good idea? Any input and advice are welcome. Thanx

You need a separate amp for the stock replacements, I think. You might also need . . .
1. Crossover 2. 4 channel amp instead
In the celica, I've got 4 channels hooked up to each woofer because they're dual voice coils. The 15" woofers that I have in my suv are run with a 1200 watt amp, so I don't think a 1500 watt is insufficient.

Ok i read it again?? From what i think you are askin...500 watts to rear speakers are WAYYY too much...get a 4 channel amp and run it to them..depending on what ur speakes are rated at. Also remember just Mids are coming thru those...not huge amounts of bass
