Nice!! Why did you decide to put it there instead of before of right after the cat?

i dunno.. i thought i'd lose too much backpressure.. in the end.. this spot had the most ground clearance after the cat and plus i didnt have that much money. maybe later down the road i'll have that resonator after the cat removed and whatnot.. btw would i get a cel if it were before the cat?

its a Y in the exhaust piping. one exit goes to the stock piping/muffler.. and the other exit (seen in the pics) just has a motorized butterfly that opens and closes using a switch.

At the control of his finger via a button, he can control a valve. The valve controls the flow of exhaust in a Y fitting. The exhaust gases can either be flowed through the muffler and out the tail pipe or be dumped our before the muffler/after the cat.

At first I thought it was the JIC Adjustable Noise Suppression pipe.

Do you get any gains with the Y exhaust setup?

If it was legal he wouldn't have to get that gadget because he'd just run a straight pipe. Since it is illegal he wants to be sneaky. cool
