Which strut bar/flex control bar is better? The APR Flex Control Bar, RMM Strut tower brace, or the tanabe front strut bar? Any opinions and comments will be appreciated! thumbsup

They all perform pretty much equally. The best strut bar is the hotchkis strut bar becauseyou can control your front camber with the camber plates it comes with.

Hotchkis if you don't plan on getting coilovers, but if you get coilovers, then I would go with whatever your heart desires grin. I went with Tanabe 'cuz I have their coilovers and I plan on getting their coilovers whenever they come out this year and'cuz it's Japanese. thumbsup

i'm gonna go with RMM because of the single peice construction, so it's stiffer. But i think all of these will perform close to the same.

pretty much all perform the same, install wise, ive done both tanabe and apr, the apr install is a lot easier since the bar is circular (the tanabe is in a short of ellipse shape). however, i did have to shave down some of the battery tie down to make it fit. the thing i like about tanabe is that the length is adjustable, so you can get so that it is a nice, tight fit. apr is super easy to install, fits perfect.

Hotchkis has it built into it. That's why it's like $400, pillow mounts aren't cheap, you're looking at atleast $200 for the pair, plus whatever front strut bar you go with. So by no means is the Hotchkis over priced.

I had the APR and could not stand it. it is so cheap, chinsey, and lame looking. I sold it and went with the tanabe and the quality/strength seems much better, plus its cheaper and much classier.

i think the apr is good quality. its made by a repected company as well as tanabe, and the other strut bars as well, except apc. its just a matter of preference.
