What do you hate when you see on a celica?? What just drives you crazy??
I think altezzas are gross. I honestly think altezza's are one of the worst things you can do to any car. Alot of people just put them on because they think that's what racers do, or that's just "the thing to do" if you want to fix up your car.
Also, chrome rims on celicas!! They drive me crazy!!

Also, chrome rims on celicas!! They drive me crazy!! I agree...I hate altezza's...but if you have them on currently you can save your car by smoking them with one of bat's kits. They look half way decent after that transformation. I hate: outlandish decals, plain altezza's, park bench wings, overmodified celi's,gay license plate covers, ugly flourescent multicolored shifters, celi's with body kits and stock rims, eyebrow covers on the headlight(not the trd ones),bad color combo's,miscellaneous and bad thought out order of mods, chrome rims,black/clear fuel lids,over-badged hatches, poorly painted dashes, and fat chicks riding with you is always a bad mod

Steven i dont understand dislikenss for lambo doors but i agree for other stuff, altezaas blows, stocks looks better in my opnion, and underbody neons , and body kits that are not smooth or flowing, bodys kits that make look unique nice, but get sick of looking at after the first glance... omg SPINNER on any car is gay... im not hating.. this is just my opnion... and large metal wings... and roof scoops.. jesus.. people put scoops on roof, hood, sides, turnk.. wtf where else is left...

Aluminum wings just look unfinished, too many gauges on the interior, euro altezzas suck on Celi's, but the carbon fiber or blacked out one's look good, especially on the black Celi's, body kits that don't match the car's color. Saw a guy rolling with a front skirt, but no SS's or rear bumper. The hell?

I also hate the loud ass exhausts as well as those goofy sharp looking wings that come out of no where and dont look smooth, and neon is kinda 80's, unless its done right on a nice car

Heated & cut springs, installed but unpainted body kits (weeks, months, or never), big wing (only mod), altezzas(only mod), straight pipes, neon everwhere (only mod), & stickers & a big a$$ role call list but no mods. Japanese only manufacturers i.e. TRD, Mugen, Rally Art etc. badges, banners, & other vinyls on domestic vehicles. Classic ex - I once saw a Ford Ranger "mud rider" with big characters on his tailgate. It was in Japanese & it said integra, I know because I had a very small version of those characters on the back of my ...integra.

Mine are led hood squirters, slow cars made to look racey (ie 1990's Sentra made to look like F&F Supra, I'll post pics of this later), cheap looking aluminum wings, false hood scoops, alezzas (all types), cheezy graphics, and fart-sounding exhaust.

Isn't the hood scoop on a Celica false? There's no top mount air filter or intercooler? It's nice to see that everyone on here hates my Celica. My meatball tails look better than stock & my chrome wheels are happy with me. My pics don't show it, but my car is slammed and I think the all around looks good. I'm really saddened by this post.

To cool what? The headers? HA! I love my Celica and the way it looks. But, I gotta tell ya', I think the hood scoop is pointless w/o a motor swap. The air intake is by the driverside front wheel. So what's the point of the hood scoop??? What some of you hate... just looks. Get over it. It still looks great, but it serves no real purpose.

BTW, my most hated mod is anything that doesn't make the car any faster. Neons, ugly body kits, riced out exhausts, rice wings, those "aerodynamic" pieces on the front bumper , altezzas, chrome wheels, spinners, big ass sound systems, and worst of all... air bag suspensions no offense to anyone here! To each his/her own.

Sending cooling air in there is beneficial. And you won't notice the aerodynamic loss created by the hoodscope until you are well over the speed many people will ever go on a daily basis. Heat = bad

Lose the hood scoop and I bet you a thousand bucks it won't change the horsepower output of the Celica. I admit, it looks good and all, but the hood scoop is over the headers. By then, the powerout put is gone. It's all about flow and the hood scoop won't change the flow of the exhaust after the fuel is burnt. The scoop is still what sets the Celica apart from many other cars. Just not performance wise. I'm still keeping my chrome wheels and APC tails, btw.

I wouldn't take that bet, because no one is saying it gives more horsepower. I'm just saying that it introduces cold air into the engine compartment, which is a good thing!

I am not particularly talking about JUST the Celica but any car for that fact:
I can't stand: Erector set wings & fart can exhausts (we can all hear your car, its not any faster, its still a neon, get over it)

I dig Lambo doors, BTW. It looks good on Celicas with good body kits. That's my 2cents. But they aren't really lambo doors, just vertical rise. Lambo doors go up and out to the sides, it looks like it would be a pain in the ass to get into a vertical rise celica.

ok the hood scoop on the celi is to cool the air between the engine and its components from getting into the passenger compartment, so that way they did not have to add as much insulation to keep your feet from gettin roasted.
the air intake on the celi is in the center of the car on the front, if ya dont believe me open your hood and look at the air cleaner. that is unless you have the cai

I really can't understand why so many guys over there don't like the Altezza rearlights. I have them on my car since this weekend and I think they look great on my black Celica. What I don't like is people who think it's necessary to express in public what they think of other people's mods. Unless the other people ask for opinions of course. Most of the time I enjoy this forum, but it bothers me when people have to urge to use their freedom of speech. Anyway, I love Altezza ![[Linked Image from leensen.nl]](http://www.leensen.nl/pics/celicababes/marieclaire/11.jpg)

I just don't like cars that don't flow well. Like altezza's are fine but sometimes they look ugly. Body Kits are fine if you have all the pieces, but it doesn't flow if you only have one piece. 2 pieces can flow alrite, one piece no. Some wings look nice, some don't. Some neons go good with the car, some don't, like green on blue car.
Guess overall anything that sticks out of the rest of the car is not very attractive. Everything should be evenly distributed...my 2 cents.
BTW, you guys all have nice rides!
