while at your local Pepboys looking for this bulb, use their bulb computer that is located in their lighting isle, type in the year, make, model, style of your car and it will tell you exactly what bulb to use and the product number to look for, amungst Pepboy's collection of hundreds of bulbs easily organized in a simple-to-find display.

I got a bulb from wal-mart, it barely lights up my car.
And I had a neat blue one for about two weeks, then it started to turn green and then it exploded. I have a walmart bulb in mine right now...it barely lights anything up

It's very easy to replace. All you need is a phillips head screwdriver. 1. Remove the visable screw 2. Use your fingers to pull the plastic off. Neither of the switches come off with this. Be careful not to short out where the bulb plugs in or you will also be replacing a fuse. May I suggest putting a slip of colored plastic up there to change the color?

May I suggest putting a slip of colored plastic up there to change the color? That's what I did, put a blue gel cover from an Auto Zone. It now gives off an aqua bluish light.

i figured it out. just take the screw off and pull the plastic cover. i found the oem bulbs at pepboys and advance auto, but no one seems to have super bright exon. the 293 bulb looks like your front turn signal bulb just 3 times smaller.

Its a really bright red... takes a while to get use-to, but I think i like it I just gotta come up with something clever to tell the officer if I get pulled over at night ..."the red makes it easier for me to drive when sleepy/hyper/high/drunk/letting the dog drive/trying to drive from the backseat"...etc
