Does anybody have the trd shortshifter? If so is it any good and how much shorter is it than the stock shifter? Also are there any other good short shifters around that are good and short?

i have a TRD ss. i love it!!! it is signifacantly a shorter throw than the stock. B&M and TWM also have ss for the celi's. the TRD ss will only work w/ the 2000-2001 models (with the housing). in order to get the TRD ss to work with the 02 and up, you'll have to remove the shift rod from the TRD housing and install it into the stock housing. this is do to the wider shift gates in the 02 celi's and up. the average rate for the TRD ss is around $120-$130.

Instead of buying a new sort shifter I opted to chop off my stock shifter and make a custom shifter. I took about 2 inches off of the stock shifter, the shifter is really low and the shifts are fast and short. I love it and it didn't cost me a cent.

let's just say you get what you pay for. obx makes a lot of replica items from the big companies. hell's they even make an AEM cai copy. i don't know if that would be a good one to buy.
