Im beggining to hate the interior celiling of the celica. it vibrates to damn much, makes HELLA NOISE! also the trunk and something in the back seat...ive yet to find out what.
My drivers side rear speaker panel area vibrates when I have music up really loud. I'm considering doing something to it with found materials, not buying any heavy mat.
Shinobi - if you're back seats vibrate, it means your rear tires aren't balanced.

I have this noise when i play my radio real loud and i think its my door handles but I had some noise from the back and I tightened the screws on my spoiler and that part is gone so for the people with back noise check your spoilers
To deny the simple pleasures in life is to desire death in the most horrifing way.
the passenger side door used to shake wen there was a lot of bass comin out of the speakers, but that problem went away by itself so i didnt really get to figure out what exactly it was.
The ceilinig is most likely your sunroof/moonroof whatever you call it. If yougo to "Tech Info" and look in the TSB section it will tell you how to fix the roof and it's cheap.

I'm gonna take your little Civic. Dust it off. Turn it sideways and stick it straight up you candy A*s.
My keys make an annoying sound against the steering column keyhole knob when the car is at about 3,000 rpms. Not before and not after. I tried everything with the keys themselves, know trying to find an insulating material to attach around the keyhole itself.
something on my passenger side near the dash rattles...can't find it
Ditto??? I think it's the a/c fan. I tightened the trim, cleared out my glovebox etc. Gonna open it up one day. I just turn on the radio & drown it out.

buy a leather key holder and only have the one key to the ignition out of it.
prob. solved!
mine does the same thing.
I have a VERY nasty rattle on the pssanger side I can't find, going to take the door apart this weekend.
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation To know even one life has breathed easier This is to have succeeded.
I have the same problem when i turn up my stero real loud the door handles vibrate with every large bass drop, Im going to get some double sided rubber bumpers and put them behind the door handle. Also with the trunk sheild one of the pads on the edges fell off and squekes alot, i have to get some felt for that too...
Been reading lots of complaints all over the web about rattles in the 03 GTS. Thats gotta suck. My '00 GT is as tight as skin. No creaks, no rattles, no vibrations.
damn mom i guess you r the lucky one. you must not have bad roads. i literally idle over the pot holes and ppl think that i'm some kind of an a-hole driving 5 miles per hr on a road where the speed limit is like 45. who cares, i just wanna protect my baby. however, for some reason i'm still getting rattles here and there. n e ways what's this double sided rubber bumper thing this guy's talking about like two posts above mine. how do the work and will they really absorb the vibration? also where can i get those from. thnx
I've got some fairly bad roads here, although the first 20,000 miles I put on my car was in Florida, and the roads there are awesome. But, I've put 9,000 on since moving, and everything is still nice and tight.
I turned my stock system to about 16 knotches and thats the point wear you cant turn it up with out hearing some rattle. it comes from the trunk handle and the doors when the windows are up.
