I'm installing my Apexi autotimer and i'm having some problems with getting it to work. I called Apexi and they helped me out a bit.

I need to find the ECU ground wire. Is it near the o2 wire under the carpet and next to the interior fusebox on the passenger side?
I searched the forum for it and found something for the Celica GTS. Says the ECU ground wire is the black/brown one(closest to ecu).

Not sure what the (closest to ecu) part means.
Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance.

Why do you need the ECU grounding wire? If you need to ground the autotimer, just ground it to the frame.

Can't. If I connect the o2sensor wire then I'm forced to ground the autotimer to the ECU ground.

Not sure why, but that's what the manual says. Also, I called apexi and they say it requires to be grounded on ECU ground. frown
