Swapped out my leather seats for some nice GT blue ones (from an 02 GT)

If you guys/ladies plan on doing this ever, make you you CHECK THE SEATBELT CONNECTIONS

The 00 and 02 GTS and GT (respectively) seat belts are different.

You can unbolt the female end of the connection (with the red button) and unhook it from the seat and move it to the other seat, and vice versa. Make sure everything is tight. thumbsup

Much nicer!

they look sweet. I want to have a "silver/dark blue" color theme, this is a nice start. Engine plastics soon wink

I was pissed out the seat belts, had to take all four seats out because I didn't test em.

Took me an hour to unblot the connector and move them. angry

Good leather seats are usually not hot and sticky.

Cheap leather, or faux leather (leatherette) is.

Well, I don't like the toyota leather. It's hot and sticky in the summertime.

I love the cloth seats.

Cloth > Leather IMO

Damn those look sick...

I'm getting sick of the weird mesh/fuzzy cloth on my 03 GTS seats.

those look pretty niec for cloth but I'm definitly a leather fan. Have no idea why you would want to give it up but to each their own.

The '03 leather is nice because it's perforated, the 00 leather I had was not.

VERY hot in the summer time, and it's sticky after a few hours on the road.

Cloth owns racing, too. MUCH more grip thumbsup

Yeah, cloth is more of a racing look. If I had sprung for the 325i that I was considering, it would have been leather fo sho. To me, leather in a sports car can seem out-of-place.

But once again, to each their own.

I was never a big fan of leather either, i prefer my cloth seats, which will eventually have custom seat covers anyway. leather is more likely to tear, from what i've seen.

I've got an 00 GTS never had a problem with the leather being sticky even in the summertime. I don't know maybe because of my leather softener?
