sighhh...i really want the carbon fiber APR ones but apparently they are meant to be illegal over here coz they are dangerous to padestrians...heck, even hood pins are apparently illegal for the same reason. so ridiculous some of the laws here... ![frown frown](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/frown.gif)

I guess when Australia run into people (sounds like often), it's only meant to knock them down - not cause physical damage ![rofl rofl](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/rotf.gif) honestly though - the canards are only as dangerous as the driver's intent of the car - if you don't run into people, its the fact that you are running your car into someone that will do the most damage ![wave wave](https://celicahobby.com/forums/images/graemlins/celica/wave.gif)

How F%%^&*n ridiculous is it! And hood pins are an important safety feature if you have a lightweight bonnet! i dunnoe how they come up with these things... but if its the law, i guess i have to follow.

'cept hood pins are kinda obvious... and if they defect your car, having to have to test road worthiness will be problematic in the future... i know this guy who turbo'ed his ride and then got defected coz he didnt have an engineers report (required by law here). pretty much had to take apart the whole engine.
