I have to buy tires really soon and i need one that is not so freakin loud you cant talk in the cabin...i have yoko parada spec II right now...i have 18" Volk rims and 215/40/18 tires...so i need a good tire that is quiet...maybe i just have a bad set but i want the tire with the less noise...please offer opinions...thanks...j

look into falken or kumho tires.

i think Kuhmo is loud too

i have it...the performance is ok but the noise is really anooying

That is the same feeling i have for the Yoks ES100. Alot of raod noise from them, plus the tire wear is not what i expected!!!! Although my alignment is kinda screwed up.

i have nitto 555 on my 18 and they are pretty quiet and very good gripping

My Falkens are quieter than my stock tires were. And there is not a noticable ride difference on the 18's...

dude i got falken fk451 there nice, grip the road well wet or dry, not loud very nice

I Have Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position SO3's in 225/40/18. Great grip wet and dry and not too loud. Most performance tires are going to be louder than non-performance tires because of the rigid/short sidewalls.

Loud yes, but try this on another tire:

I took an almost 45 degree offramp turn at nearly 60 MPH (it was dark, I couldn't see), hard over on the wheel, light brake, back end stayed TIGHT and I rounded the turn, let off the brake, punched the gas at the apex, at a TINY squeak and I was going about 45-50 on the exit, hit lift and was gone.
