Ok, on the underside of the oem scoop there is a black metal piece, attached in two places on each side.

My question is: Do I need to take this piece off and put it on the c-one scoop??

The thing is, the underside of the c-one scoop doeson't have a hole drilled for two of the screws (one on each side) to hold the black metal piece on.

The "Air Intake Guide" (Part # 76182-20040)

From another member: "it has not just been great for guiding air in the correct direction, it has also captured all sorts of things. the obvious, leaves, branches and such, but also a pencil, gum papers, Styrofoam parts...etc"
