I just bought the S2000 antenna but the tip in hella shorter than the stock one and it seems like it just slips inside it and i cant seem to match up the threads to screw it on. Im sure its a lot easier than it seems to me right now, but can someone let me know if they had the same problem and how you can get it on? thanks! and what is locktight, like a sticky ribbon you put around it or a gum-like material, thansk guys! thumbsup

locktight is glue that you put in so it cannot be removed. cant really give you any pointers on how to screw an antenna in though happywink

thanks for the locktite explanation. For all yuo who are thinking of putting an S2000 antenna on, push down really hard!, and also to make more rooom for the threads to make contact, cut the little extra rubber ring on the inside of the antenna to allow a bit more room. Good luck and THANKS!

I had no trouble putting mine on idunno

But yeah, you gotta push a little when screwing it in.
