I was wondering how i would make my celica gt look like it had dual exhaust. I know it wont be true dual exhaust just want it for show.

yes, custom, any exhaust/muffler shop can do this for you pretty inexpensively.

If anything it would prolly help a little, more exits for the gas to flow outa. Just my .02

I believe that a dual exhaust does not help performance wise on a 4 cylinder. I think it has something to do with the back pressure thus making it perform not that good. Though, a friend of mine and I have *rigged* a non-true dual exhaust that is JUST for looks, it is basically just a single performance exhaust, and then it has muffler (same type) attatched to the other side of the car and also a pipe runs to the other exhaust (welded but not actually 'runs' into the others piping. Again, this is just for looks. It looks really nice and you really cannot tell unless you look really close under the car.

quads on a trd exhaust... not much noticeable loss in low-end, but feels good up top...

it won't gain anything and sometimes it will lose performance...dual's are not made for a 4 cylinder it's just for show if you really don't care about performance.

I really wanted to do this as well until my step bro his best friend, both mechanics for over 7 years, got into a drunken discrepancy over wether or not it helped 4 cylinder cars. My step bro said the flow would be greater so, yes. But Dan, his buddy, said no b-cuz 1) the headers go to one exhaust, hence no real flow gain and 2) loss of back pressure 3) added weight. I went with drunk mechanic #2 and decided TRD exhaust was all my Celica needed. Hope that helped ya'.

Hope that helped ya'. a dual exhaust can help performance wise only if the size and length of the two pipes are calculated properly.where exactly in the system the two pipes originate also have a lot to do with what kind of gains you would get.egs.2 smaller pipes carrying the same volume of air as one bigger pipe would have the air travelling at a much faster speed.splitting one pipe into two equal size pipe would slow down the flow,which is bad for power!
