Is $1,350 too much for a set of rims + wheels???

The tires are also performance tires (basically looked like it didn't have tread) which the guy said isn't recommended for WINTER driving. I live in the midwest, its winter 50% of the time here.

I don't know much about rims but couldn't I get a REGULAR set of tires that would accomodate that rim so I could drive in the winter. Or is driving with rims not recommended for winter??? I live in Chicago and winters can be brutal.

No that is not to much to pay. Also, you should be able to find normal tires that would work in all weather.

Yes, then the price could possible be cheaper????? I am assuming that those "performance" tires aren't cheap.

You might save a little by going to regular tires instead of performance tires it all depends on brands and quality.
