Ok I took a 94-01 GSR motor and took out my D16y SOHC VTEC setup..So I have a GSR tranny, ecu and motor...and its rebuilt and its 600whp ready..but what I was wondering if a 2000 GTS Motor ECU and Tranny would swap into a 2000 Celica GT?

its a lot of work and a lot of money, just buy a GTS yeah if I can find one thats under 15grand in Georgia and I could afford the insurance on it I would get it..my last one I owned.. my parents paid for the insurance, and I paid for the car itself but I lost it cause I didnt have a Job but I was in School...so Im starting all over again...and maybe I Insurance would be cheaper if I went down to a GT instead of a GTS...I mean my civic is cheaper on Insurance..but I miss the Celica cause the ladies was diggin the ride..so was I, and I had plans to get that Celica 450whp+

Maybe if you blew your 1zz you could put a 2zz in but that would mean a lot of extra work besides just the motor and tranny swap.

I dont wanna blow any motors just change out...besides I dont think it would take that long for the VVTI-l motor and tranny would take that long to install and it wouldnt cost that much..would it?

I know this isn't what you asked, but a turbo kit for your 1zz will give you quite a bit more power than a 2zz for less hassle and probably less money.
