i was cruzin' to work with my stereo on blast when right in front of my work i got rolled by the sherrif and sited for my exaust and my system "nois pollution" well now i got a fix it for the exaust and was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a paper the validates that my exaust is street legal its a tanabe hyper medalion someone posted a paper on this site under new images on page 20 but i cant read crizzap and i kind of want something i can print out any help would be very appreciated!!

I would think that if the 50 wrote you up you would have to go to the station to have it inspected after you got it fixed and have a db test, thats what they do in MI. i mean how did the cop know that it was over the limit in the first place?

naw he just said he heard me from like 5 blocks away and that it was a "modified exaust" then went on to give me the example that radar detectors are also sold over the counter but not legal???? whatever

What a dick bag! I hate the Po, but like I said in Mi they do a db test to make sure that your w/i the legal limits.

try contacting the manufacturer or the person that sold you the exhaust. usually they can provide you will all the legal paperwork that you need to validate that your exhaust is street legal. another thing you might wanna do is look up your local laws to see what the laws are for exhausts and stuff.

my friend got pulled over in his eclipse with the same exhaust..he got the paperwork from the place he bought it,
but when he took it to them in court they wouldnt accept it.
Cops are f******* jerks here! From what he said they wouldnt accept it because it wasnt the original document.
