hey...how long does it take to install the injen CAI...just wondering before i go yank my car apart and it takes longer than i have...thanks everyone...j
It took me about 2hrs of work to get it done. I had all of the tools I needed right there before I started. And I took the bumper off cause I think its easier that way. Dont forget to block off the holes in the wheel well or crud will get tossed all over your new intake filter.
Me.. about 2 hours... with taking plenty of time.. and no rushing... I think you must take out the bumper if you are installing CAI.. I don't know how hard would be to install the filter without taking out the bumper...
is there any way to make the hoses blue to match my engine plastics...the red doesnt look to good with it...i thought about paint but if bent wouldnt it chip off...
Took me about 3 hours to install without taking the front bumper off. Minor trimming of the guard at the bottom. About the hose... why don't you get the blue one to begin with? Don't paint it.. the paint isn't going to last cos they are soft plastics.
