Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Diamond plate ?

I have a question.Were can i get the "Dimond Plate" to make a Floor mats for my Celica???
I know that on e-bay they sell already made "DP" Floor mats for $60 but i would like to make it my self.
P.S.HomeDipot do not sell Dimond Plate.
P.P.S. I live in Maryland and if you know any place who sell it in DC,Va or Md area please let me know.

I'm not really sure, but in my own opinion, you should the precut ones as just spend alittle more money. I would never be able to cut them correctly. But if you did want to get them, do-it-yourself stores should carry them. The home depot by me does.

try LOWES. im in maryland too. home depot near me dont' carry it but i've seen it at lowes. kinda pricey. if you can find a deal on the pre cut ones you might want to look into that, unless you are used to cutting such a thick piece of metal and have the tools to do so. the diamond plate they sell at lowe's isn't something you can cut with a pair of tin snips

It's a smart idea for you to do them yourself. You'll get a new experience and save some money.

There are two kinds of diamonds plate, steel and aluminum. The only differance is wieght and flexablity.

If you get the aluminum it will be cheaper, easier to cut and bend. The steel ones you better have some seriuos power tools.

I bought mine from this place and got ripped. Stay away from them they suck all around.
