Celica Forums General Discussion General People breakin in?

Im so freakin tired of dumbass people breaking into nice racing cars. I do all I can to make it possible for them not to do it but most insist on keying your shit or messing with your car. Cant they just have the descentsy to realize how much money we spend on our cars. Why do they have to mess with 'em? I live in Cali so theres a lot of that shit that goes on.

Bottom line - jealousy is a b*tch.

People are spiteful for things that they can't have or will never be able to have.

yea dude i hear yea...never got keyed or anything...im still in HS...so if someone did do something to my car id hear about it and beat there ass ha...but still that sucks bro..there just jealous

true that...and christmas time is not a good time for cars...although it is aggrivating, having a very sensitive alarm does help. lots & lots of false alarms, but it does keep people away so i think it pays off.

its also a good way to piss off neighbors...

very true, my crap is so sensative if you slam the car door next to it it will go off... lol.

it has both advantages and disadvantages. but the way i look at it: i'd rather be woken up twice a week than wake up and find something missing in my car.

The disadvantage to that is that people get so used to hearing it they don't think twice and if someone really was breaking into your car, they probably wouldn't even bother to go see.

No offense to you guys, but usually high school kids act hateful towards other high school kids. Especially if you are in high school and driving a celica, or any nice car for that fact. Also, when you are not that age anymore if you flaunt your sh*t constantly or have a huge ego about the car, its just asking for trouble.

true that. i'm just glad i went to a very small private school and everyone knew everyone else. not that i had a celica when i was in high school though...so i guess i would have been ok.

I am class of '05 Junior Right now. Got my license right when i turned 16 couldnt wait.

By the way Im not some snotty rich kid driving a celica in high school. I worked hard I saved for 3 years. Wanted to let you guys know.

I drove a beater to HS and it got keyed and trashed up.

I paid $900 for it and I smashed it up with a mallet in a field after I graduated and left it to die.

Dude that's so funny. The thing that gets to me is that I put a lot of time & effort into my ride then some fool at the mall opens his door too wide then hits mine(I actually saw a dude do this to mine) & the people around here are constantly tapping my front & rear bumpers getting in & out of the parking spots

I park my car near the back so nobody really wants the long walk in winter and park next to it, and if they are around it, they are obvious, I also try not to take too long with whatever I am doing, thats hard if you go to school though, some things you can't avoid though.

If you live in the city, the last part ALWAYS HAPPENS. We were visiting my bf's sister at her old house, she lived off of Fullerton by Augusta, not the greatest neighborhood, but whatever. This is when I had my cavalier. We parked out front and when we were leaving this car of guys that parked in front of me were leaving/reversing, and TAPPED my car hard. I said "WTF, that is my car" and they replied "Its just a little kiss, don't worry about it" I didn't say much afterwards because they seemed to be street thugs/gang-ish.


Also, when I go to any parking lots now, I park FARRRR AWAY and just walk. I had a nice ding right about my front left wheel that is all fuckin nasty looking because some asshole in his new MAXIMA decided to swing his door open.


When I come out of a place and there are cars next to me, I check for new door dings, if there are any...I feel real sorry for whoevers car might be next to mine. Hate on my car and you get it right back (this is not saying I have done anything too bad)

You can never be too careful when it comes to protecting your car from careless people. I park at least a mile away from the stores entrance and always carry plenty of security tape and posts to create a protective perimeter around my car.

fuck em all...i hate haters...they can't afford what we have so they take out their jealousy on us..peace
