I currently have my GTS2000 running in some 17" RH CR-evo. One friend wants to trade my rims with his rims who are actually 18" and the same model. Apperantly in his car the size is giving some problems while he is driving. Happens the same with the Celica???. Because I dont want to change the shocks by the moment. And i really like my Celica to be running in those 18"

Nope you shouldn't have any problems. I have ask around people that do run on 18's with like 1 to 2 inch drop and they are not having problems, because I'am looking forward for some too.

It depends on your preference. You need speed? or style? Ride with 18 may be harsh.

No problem at all. And you are going to love it.
I lowered mine 2" and I 225/40/18. Looks nice, and runs smooth.
