lack of information, needs more details about the celica

does sound better than a manual...but yeah, there def needs to be some more information before you waste your $$ on something and having the possiblity of it screwing your car up.

so do you think it could be just as good as manual. I just get tired of people telling me it would be faster if it where manual. My dad bought it for me so i just took whatever.

i doubt it. to be as good as manual you'd have to get a manual conversion.

and if your dad bought it for you...then don't fret about what people think of automatics. i don't think there is a single person here that would reject a new car just because it was automatic

spending your own $$ on the other hand...that's what got me into my 6-spd.

manual has more gears so it would shift well but still not be as fast
